Mission

PalisadesRising.org is here to help the community recover and rebuild after the Palisades Fire. 

We want to help Palisadians stay connected during this rebuilding period. Our goal is to support local neighborhoods, schools, churches, clubs, and organizations by creating a platform for both virtual and in-person community engagement.

We aim to bring people together, share reliable safety information, guide rebuilding efforts, and improve disaster prevention. By leveraging local skills and resources, we can strengthen the neighborhood while keeping discussions neutral and focused on what’s best for everyone.

Strategy

We are creating a forum for communication and discussion of relevant information. Our goal is to organize information from various WhatsApp and other community chats in a comprehensive and accessible way. We also aim to organize community meetings and events to connect Palisades residents in order to help each other with their individual needs and discuss issues related to repopulation, rebuilding, insurance matters and government aid.

Palisades residents will have access to the following:

• Checklists and documents
• Meeting and event information and invites
• Discussion forums on resources, repopulation and rebuilding efforts
• Contact information for neighbors
